Last night my best friend and I cried together, sorting out the issues no one else knew about but us. Times like these create the inside jokes we laugh about in the presence of others, the head nods and winks we shoot across rooms to disguise our secrets. It wasn't my problem but because it was hers it automatically became mine. There was no concrete solution, just endless possibilities. The what ifs and what could be's were all up and through the conversation. So as she cried, I couldn't help but cry with her as I literally felt her pain. Miles apart, a state away and through the screens of our MacBook Pros, I could still be with my bestfriend. We have beautiful friendship moments all the time but the ones that leave us the most vulnerable always solidify the unwavering strength of our sisterhood.
